Our mission is to provide opportunities to every member of the Parish to participate in hands-on activities to fulfill the challenge put to us by the Matthew 25 Gospel: to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick and imprisoned and greet the stranger.

To fulfill this mission, the Matthew 25 ministry will focus on the following activities:

Research and coordinate specific projects with various community service organizations that seek to fulfill the needs addressed by the Gospel;

Strengthen and maintain the relationship between the American Martyrs and St. Lawrence Brindisi communities;

Inform the Parish, Parish ministries and individual parishioners of the needs of our community and the organizations and involvement opportunities that serve those needs;

Seek out volunteer opportunities for a full range of parishioners, including children/youth, families, seniors, young adults, and those with special skills or needs;

Focus on the spiritual basis for our ministry and create an enriching environment for members of our ministry and our Parish volunteers; and

Share our efforts with other members of our community, other Parishes and religious organizations of other faiths where such participation will further the
goals of our ministry.
